Ava's p.o.v “But how was he able to know that we are still in this place?”I frowned.

“Baby girl,just know people are capable of finding out information if they want to…so I'm very certain it wasn't hard for him to find out that we live here but please don't be scared of him or Linda,” his lips curved in a smile and it was full of assurance.

We did our night routine and later took my pills that the doctor gave me before heading to bed.

I slept while laying my head on Liam's hand throughout the night with his other hand around my waist and I must say,this is my safest place as long as I could remember.

“Baby good morning,” I felt his cold lips brushing my neck and I smiled with my eyes still closed.

“Is my baby awake or should I place love bites all over her body while she's asleep?” He grabbed my boobs while kissing my chest.

“Babe I'm awake please stop,” I replied while giggling.

“What did you say?” He sat upright in one go.

“I said I'm awake,did I say something wrong?” I also sat up and looked at him.

“No,like, I would like to hear again the same statement you made before that,” he held my hands in his and looked deep into my eyes.

“Ohh I said,babe I'm awake please stop…did i say something bad,you're scaring me now,” I replied and my smile faded.

He pulled me closer and with my cheeks resting in his palms,he kissed me passionately and when our tongues tangled,I passed my hand through his hair and grabbed it from the back as the kiss became intense.

“Baby girl,this is the first time you have called me babe,that's why I was hell surprised,” he pulled out from the kiss and gave me a tight hug.

“I didn't even realise it haha,but I'm glad you loved it that way,” I hugged him back.

“I love you Ava,so much…you really complete me,” he looked me dead in my eyes and my heart beat lost pace because I didn't know how to react or respond to that.

I was still puzzled with what to say next when we heard one of our phones buzzing and when he reached the table to see whose it was,luckily it was his.

“Ohh it's my secretary,excuse me baby let me first take this,” he stood up from bed and moved closer to the window to pick it.

“Yes,tell me,” he said.

“Ohh I had forgotten about that, are sure it is today?” He asked her.

“Damn! Okay let me get back to you shortly,” he hung up and walked back to bed where I was.

“Baby girl,my secretary just reminded me that today is the day we will be meeting up with our business partner who is willing to invest in our new apartments project,” he sat beside me.

“Oh babe that's good news,what are you wearing today?” I happily asked.

“I don't think I'm leaving this place,” he shrugged.

“Arw you kidding me right now?! This is the meeting you have been preparing for the past five months,now you want to blow it up in just seconds?!” I wasn't happy with his reaction.

“I wanted to spend time with you today,we can always reschedule our meeting,we are not in a rush anywhere,” he replied while pecking me on the cheek.

“Babe stop being stubborn,we have all other days we can spend together in whichever way you wish but this is a life changing project so get your lazy ass up from this bed and we head to work right now,” I ordered him.

“You said we?” He asked like he was begging for my pardon.

“Yes babe,we are heading to work right this very moment so let's get done with the morning routine already,” I stood up and grabbed my bathrobe.

“I thought the doctor told you to stay home for today and rest…so where are you going?” He grabbed my hand and pulled me back.

“Babe,you expect me to stay in bed when my man is out there signing mega deals!? Someone has to stand besides him when he's winning and there's no better person than me right,” I wrapped my hands around his neck.

“That is so sweet of you baby girl.Okay,but you're just going to sit there like a princess and watch me work,I don't want you to touch a thing when we reach office,” he squeezed my butt as he brought his soft lips to meet mine.

We later moved to the shower to clean up but something that normal people do in just five minutes,in our world,it takes us like a good thirty minutes or more because we are exploring precious things that God created haha.

We finished dressing up and moved to the car but we first grabbed something to eat on the way to work.

“Good morning sir, good morning ma'am,” the receptionist greeted us.

“Yes morning,hope everything is set,” he asked.

“Yes sir,I did as you asked,” she responded.

“How much time do we have left?” he asked.

“Uhm,in less than an hour,they will be here sir,” she replied while taking a glance at her wrist watch to confirm the time.

“Okay then,thank you,” he replied and we moved to our office.

“This is going to be a long day, baby girl but in case you don't feel okay,just let me know right away,” he opened the door and I stepped inside.

“Babe I'm going to be just fine,all you have to do is make me proud as usual,” I sat on top of his desk and crossed my legs with my hands resting behind firmly on the desk.

“Babe,no not now haha,” I quickly stood up from there and sat down in my chair because he had started getting crazy ideas already.

“I swear I wasn't going to do anything,I was just admiring that sitting position,” he winked at me.

“I don't think so,” I pulled out my phone to check some unanswered messages.

“Okay let me prepare some files here before those guys walk in because I need to pull off a great presentation,” he sat behind his desk and prepared his laptop.

“You got this babe,” I applauded him because he deserves it.

I have seen this man working his ass off day in and day out without a day off and I'm so happy that his hard work has started to pay off.
