The Questioner's Descent

Gabriel flew through the Otherworld's endless skies, wings carrying her far from the central citadels. She needed space. Distance. Time to process thoughts that grew more dangerous with each passing moment.

The Goddess had created Azrael. Had made him capable of questioning. Then punished him for using that capacity.
