 A few days passed, and I found myself not wanting to do much. Jace, Ava, and Kas had all taken turns checking on me and encouraging me to stay positive about the situation.

Kas had told me about the park, and, after some back and forth, I agreed to go for a stroll with her. Thinking about her final plea made me grin. "Tori, if you don't come with me, I'll drag you there. Do you want me to do that?"
