Elina‘s POV

I could sense it in the air, even before the wind stilled and the rustling of leaves died down. I perked up inside the tent and almost immediately heard Ryan's loud voice boom across our camp.

“Ambush!!” I rolled out of the tent and ran forward to Ryan's side. Isaac, Lucas, and Adam joined us a second later.

My eyes were fixed on the valley where our foe descended towards us like a storm cloud.
