Zeda flopped down on the couch with a heavy sigh. She looked at her wristwatch and mentally erased her first two classes from her schedule.

There was no way she was going to meet up now. She just had to be fast enough and hope she could still make it to the third class, despite the sheer size of the house and her growing hunger.

She mentally arranged her errands: laundry first, then cleaning the house, starting from the sitting room. The kitchen would be last.
