After Letty talked my ear off about Silas, my fury grew. Yuri had invited me to meet her after I had selected my Met Gala gown.

"Ms. Hayes apologizes for keeping you waiting," the manager stated. "Welcome to the Vannel dress line."

"It's OK. Can you please contact Selena for me? She had the outfit ready," I requested. The manager nodded, and a few minutes later, Selena, the owner, and chief designer of Vannel, walked in, looking sharp as ever.
