“How’s the progress so far?” Julian returned, going to stand behind Joey.

“I think we’re getting closer,” I said enthusiastically. “Joey is a really good artist.”

Joey smiled kindly, looking up from the sketchbook to look at me. “That’s just because you give good descriptions.”
