I had seen Ryan get angry. But never at me. Liam held him back, putting his hands on his chest and arm, pulling him back.

“Ryan, back off!” Liam yelled, causing a few people around to look in our direction. They began to whisper to themselves.

“Why the hell does she think she can just say whatever she wants?” Ryan asked, his gaze leaving me to rest on Liam. “I get that she's our mate, she's the perfect sacrifice but it gives her no right. She knows nothing!”
