I turned to Maverick and glowered. I looked at the spot on my shoulder where he just bit me!

“I’m sorry, I’m starving.”

“Starving?” I raised a brow. “For what?” I teased.

“Don’t do this to me, Odessa.” His brows dipped, and he pouted.

“I can’t believe I’m cooking for you.”
