Maverick and I went out to get buffalo wings for dinner at Brewster bar. The place my alleged uncle owned. It had become more of a Daciana Devil spot, but Maverick liked this place and wasn’t scared off by a few oppositions.

“Now tell me again what Trevor said so I can bash his head in the next time I see him,” Mav said after we put in our orders.

I sighed and placed my cheek in my hand.
