“I think I left some of my things at Barnette’s place,” I said.

“Depends on what stuff? The witchy stuff?”

“Of course not!” I frowned. “It’s not witchy stuff anyway.”

After the night, Seth and Maverick battled it out in the forest we got kicked out of our apartment for disrupting the other tenants. Maverick bought a house on the same street as Barnette.
