“Ryder, no!”

“Kill the wolf.” A witch ordered.

This wasn’t supposed to happen this way!

A spell shot into the air and hit the wolf’s chest, sending him back into the trees.

“We’ve been found out. The moon’s high enough. Kill the others!” Rae ordered.

“No!” I ran out of my hiding spot.

The sacred spot was larger than I anticipated. This place was a whole settlement hidden on the mountain.
