“Don’t go to work today,” Maverick murmured.

“Are you going to stay in bed with me?” I whispered into his chest.

He formed little circles on my back with his fingers. “I’d love nothing more. Gavin’s locked up in the pack house. Gage gave him one hell of a beating. Which sucks because it means I have to go easy on him.”
