Chapter 34: The First Led

The baker’s cart came to a stop in front of Theo’s mansion. This has been almost every day for a week. Still no appointment with Theo. 

The morning dew fills the air and the chatter of voices in Sagu District resounds throughout a bite-sized village of fifty. Kids lounging against the stone walls. They wear cone-shaped hats.
