I pour myself into bed at 10:30. The past few days begin to wear on me. The appearances and the interviews take their toll. Tomorrow, my day begins promptly at 5:00 a.m. at the local network via satellite with ESPN on the East Coast.

My cell phone vibrates on the nightstand. 

Mom: Madison is staying with me. her mother died & she needs you

Me: I’m slammed with interviews

Mom: I know

Me: services scheduled?
