"Take this!" He ordered as he approached me with two tablets in his hand and a cup of water from the small table beside the bed.

I stared at the drugs for a while as I contemplated whether or not to use them. I didn't trust him and wasn't sure they were safe.

"The doctor gave them to me," he said, like he was somehow reading my mind, and I nodded my head as I collected the tablets from him and gulped them down with the water beside me.
