After school, I tried to search for Ariel to ask if she had spoken with the school mistress yet, but I couldn't find her anywhere near the school compound, nor could I pick her scent.

I tried to search for her mate instead, but I still couldn't track any of them with their smile until a realisation hit me and I prayed it wasn't true.

There was no way Ariel would just leave the school and not say goodbye to me, especially knowing the fact that she wouldn't come back here anymore ...
