After dinner, my mother dragged me back to our room. I expected her to be happy that I was staying back, but instead, she looked worried.

When we got inside, she banged the door behind us before she pulled me until we were close to the bed.

"What was that?" She spoke out. "You really want to stay back, Andrea?"
