Chapter 54

Lucas was huddled on the cold ground of the cell he was kept in. He buried his head as his mind spun with numerous thoughts; some made him angry, some made him sad, and some filled him with regret.

He's been here for at least three hours now, or maybe four. He couldn't tell, as there weren't any clocks here, nor was there food, water or anything else. Just him, the darkness and the cold floor—oh, not to forget the pungent smell that oozed from somewhere in the cell.
