Then, slowly, he lay beside me.

He pulled me closer to him till I felt his hard chest against mine and then he wrapped his arm around my waist.

I thought he’d say something. Ask me why I’d vanished after we left that room. Why I hadn’t said anything to him after that. Why I hadn’t come down for dinner.
