Grayson quickly reached me. He then pulled my hand until I fell into his arms. I could hear his heart beating fast, as well as his heavy breathing.

When I looked up, I found Grayson's face flushed with his jaw clenched.

Meanwhile, Owen lowered his fist and chose to take a few steps back. Hanz remained where he was, with a smug look on his face.

"Are you okay, Quinny?" Grayson asked me.
