the party had passed and the aftermath of the party left sarah brooding in her well furnished bedroom where all she could think about was the amazing moment her and Jacob shared in the gallery during the party yesterday she reminisced the moment where Jacob said that ''not today'' she couldn't stop savouring the moment when a knock came on her door and low and behold it was her friend natasha who knocked and she just entered before sarah could even say come in sarah wasn't surprised at this because this was her usual behavior of note always following the whitmore protocol and this was part of what made her to love natasha so much. natasha went straight to the point as to what brought her there and she said that yesterday you were missing one minute you are on the dance floor the next you are missing where did you head off to and sarah responded by saying I went to get some air and Emily who had already suspected something being off with the whole thing said that air or company then sarah couldn't answer the question hereby betraying herself and Emily gasped and clocked that it was Jacob hale she ran off to see and sarah replied saying that it wan not anything serious we only spoke for a moment. Then Natasha pulled closer to Sarah and told her that ''sarah you know your family will kill you if they knew about anything going on between the both of you, knowing fully well that the both families dont get along at all sarah knew what this meant and she hereby just held on to natasha and she said that ''I know'' that is why It cant repeat itself again. across town Jacob too was left brooding on the magical moment in his dads workshop his brother Daniel was busy talking about business with his father while he stepped outside to receive air and to think on the incident then when his brother was done in the workshop he came outside and met Jacob moody and asked him what was going on and he said nothing and his brother who had noticed his countenance from after the party last night looked to him and said hope it is not because of that girl and Jacob sharply replied and said who he said sarah whitmore without hesitating he noticed the two of them at the party then Jacob stayed quiet and that served as an enough response for his brother and his brother quickly sounded it to him that she is a no go area amidst the family issues that existed he told him what her father is capable of doing to him with his power and influence and Jacob replied ''im not afraid of her dad'' then Daniel said do you really think that you can go against her family they will cage her before they let her near you Michael sighed knowing what his older brother had told him was true and had to just keep on brooding on the situation of things. that evening in the whitmores home during the family dinner sarah sat down with her dad and mum Richard and Eleanor whitmore including her younger brother Charles during the dinner they were eating their famous turkey and salad that night as they were going through the sumptious meal her father paused to commend her on her conduct in yesterdays party saying ''I was pleased to see the way you handled yesterdays event so elegant so classy like a true whitmore like you are'' then sarah responded saying thank you father for your kind words. Then her father used that same opportunity to ask if she hadn't been wasting her time with unworthy company, and she said with a forced smile on her face Of course not, Dad'' but after she had said that, guilt set into her chest knowing fully well that she had gone against her family's wishes. then the following weekend came and Emily came visiting sarah at her house and offered taking sarah to an art museum to view som wonderful art pieces and she obliged and followed her with her parents consent which they saw that outing to be a ''wholesome event'' so they got to the museum and they were wandering along the hallway of the museum viewing various masterpieces from art geniuses and from then on sarah couldn't believe her eyes on what she saw low and behold it was Jacob hale that was standing on the hallway of the museum before a painting with his hands in his pocket for a moment sarah froze and couldn't believe what she had just seen then Jacob approached her saying ''you again'' almost smiling and sarah replied saying ''I could say the same'' then they stood there for a while appreciating each others company, then they both spoke about their love of art art Jacob told her that he would love to build something of his own one day and sarah spoke about her love of painting but hardly any freedom to pursue it. Then they kept talking like they had known each other for a long time. then soon after natasha appeared and saw them together and she said ''what is going on here'' then they both adjusted themselves and then sarah tried to explain to natasha that it was not what it looked like then natasha replied her saying that it is what it looked like then she told sarah that she was playing with fire Jacob sighed and said ''well maybe I should go'' then he said to sarah ''until next time'' after he tool his leave natasha held unto her friend saying to her that you cant keep seeing him you know what is at stake then she replied her friend with a sad voice saying ''I know'' but her friends warning couldn't dim the glow that Jacob left behind. That same night, she lay in her bed and realized that she had overstepped it, and a fleeting moment at the party had become something more, a secret, a risk, and while everybody around her told her that this was dangerous, her heart said something louder; she couldn't resist.
