Lisa's POV

The tears came before the words did.

I clamped my hands over my face, overwhelmed and flushed and blinking through the blur. My lips trembled as I tried to hold it in, but the joy rolled out in waves, too big to contain.

“Yes,” I gasped, laughing and crying at once.

“Yes, I will!”

His eyes lit up like I'd just handed him the moon. This lips curved from ear to ear. I don't think I've seen him this happy before.

He took my hand, slid the ring onto my finger like it belonged ...
