I nodded weakly and lay back down. The room tilted slightly, and I closed my eyes until it stopped spinning.

“Did Elewon call?” I asked softly, my eyes still closed.

“She came by earlier,” Jace replied. I heard him settling back into the chair. “You were still unconscious. I told her you’d be fine and that she should go home.”

“She must have been so worried,” I whispered.
