“Good morning,” I said to Elewon as she walked into the living room.

“Good morning, baby girl,” she replied with a yawn. She followed her nose to the kitchen, where I was cooking. “Hmmm.” She closed her eyes and breathed in deeply. “That smells amazing.”

“Go take your bath and come eat,” I said, smiling at her. “Breakfast is ready.”

“I can’t wait to taste your food,” she said, grinning before heading upstairs.
