Chapter 3*Aethonaea pov*

Getting to my basement room I dropped the ripple on the ground

"How do I turn this back to the young man? I asked the voice

" Just say the word "

" Turn this young man back to his normal self  "I said and the ripple burst revealing the young man .

"What could possibly be the reason why he hasn't woken up and how do I know the medication to give him ? I asked

"You should get some herbs and feed him , get a lavender flower and slippery elm it will help clear his lungs" the voice said

"Getting the herbs will be pretty hard but I will try . I left my basement room to go into the garden.

" Dear wind take me to the garden "I said and I was inside the palace garden immediately

" You are already getting use to the abilities "the voice said and I couldn't help but smile I love this new ability

After grinding the herb and squeezing out the water I feed the young man the water and watched him.

" How long will it take before he wakes up ? I asked the voice

"Just a few hours he should be up "

"Come to think if it , you said I could name you right ? I asked .

" Yes , please give me a good name cause you only get one chance to do that ".

" Hmm! Let me think

"How about ...

" Please let it be a good name "

"Then I will name you  'Lumin'"

" Why ?

"It means light , because you coming into my life today brought a hope it light to me after fourteen years "

"I love it "

I ended up sleeping after the voice in my head kept on humming, I knew I will not be asked to do anything today since it's my birthday.

I'm not asked to do anything on my birthdays I do not know why but that was the kings rule.

I don't know how long I have been asleep but I heard a splash of water on my face and I woke up instantly, after wiping the water off my face , I saw my step sister glairng at me as if she wants to murder me .

"And how long will it take for you to realize that a royal blood is in front of you ? She asked and I knew that was her sign of reminding me that I haven't greeted her .

Standing up I bowed my head" Good morning first princess "I greeted and a slap landed on my left  cheek .

" That's for not greeting without a reminder "she said and another slap landed on my right cheek

"And that's for sleeping like a normal person , how dare you let me wake up before you , have you forgotten that you are a mere maid in this palace " she spat out ...

I was barely listening to her when I remembered the young man and I turned in a blink of an eye towards my bed and it was empty

"Where did he go? I asked Lumin and I didn't get an answer

" What did the voice also go away too? I asked please I do not want the voice to go away too , I really loved it company yesterday at least I got to share what's on my mind .

"Please Lumin do not go" I pleaded in head with my eyes closed .

"Watch out she is about to slap you again " I heard Lumin's voice and I smiled

"Yes " I said and another slap shut me up

"I warned you , sorry " Lumin said

"No worries at least I'm glad you are not gone " I said to Lumin before kneeling before the first princess , princess piper "my princess I'm sorry you can punish me as you deem fit "I said that was the only way to get of this faster .

Piper is a very proud person I knew that accepting that I'm a lowly servant in front of her will make her happy and she will let me go fast .

" Is good that you know your position, get me a cup of tea and go answer the queen mother she demands for your presence "princess piper said before heading out .

If not that she wants to frustrate my life , she can never stoop so low to come to my basement room she doesn't like a place like this .

Well I guess that she loves torturing me than watching where she appears .

" Do you perhaps know where the young man went to ? I asked Lumin

"I do not know , while you were asleep I was asleep too "

"Oh "

Getting to the main palace ground I saw everyone was busy , after preparing tea for princess piper I went to answer the queen mother.

Knocking at her door I was asked to come in "good morning queen mother" I greeted as I bowed and I next thing I felt was a slap on my cheek  .

"Well today seems to be a slapping day , my cheeks hurts like mad already I just have to apply some ointment to my cheek later to avoid any bruise or mark .

" You know next time someone tries to slap you , you could make their hand burn "Lumin said I was about to laugh but remembered that the queen was in front of me seeing me laugh will only worsen my situation.

" That will land me in a pretty ugly position Lumin ".

" Get back to the kitchen we are expecting an important guest today at the palace and you will be serving us when he arrives "the queen mother instructed before I was asked to leave .

So that was the reason the kitchen was in a frenzy, who could they be expecting that .

Passing by princess piper room , I can see her getting all dressed up for , and princess lylah too .

Princess lylah is the second princess if though she is not as mean as princess piper is to me she is not close to me.

Who could be coming back .. maybe is the prince .

Yes I have an older step brother , he senior both princess piper and princess lylah he has been on training for the past few years ...

Maybe he is finally coming back
