Chapter 6*Aethonaea pov*

"I will be your bride..." I said as I looked at him in the eyes ,I needed him to know I wasn't scared I can't give him any reason to reject me I'm ready to crawl on his feet if need be .

Before I could say what I said the second time I felt my arm being dragged and a hot slap landed on my face , covering my cheek I  looked at the king , I knew he will be furious but he did not leave me with another choice .

"I'm sorry prince zephyr we will learn to teach our maids more etiquette next time " the king said and I felt like really slapping him hard .

"Prince zephyr my name is princess piper and I'm the older sister and the perfect match for you as a bride " piper said as she turned toward me to glare at me

"And what are you still standing there for ? Will you get lost this minute" princess piper and the queen voice came at the same time .

At this point I was left speechless .

As I turned to leave I was praying quietly for something to happen or perhaps for the prince to ask me to stop like it has always been in movies but nothing happened, there is no way I'm leaving here without getting what I want .

At this point I wish that the prince recognized me and remember that I saved his life and he will be indebted to me .

I dropped the cup I was holding at the door and a chattering sound echoed the whole room as I turned and everyone eyes were on me .

I walked towards the king quietly and took a deep breath .

"This lowly maid are you out of your mind ? Princess Piper's voice came running into my ears .

" How can you call me a lowly maid when you and I share the same father "I asked but I didn't wait for her to answer s I turned toward the king .

" King Rowan, prince zephyr asked to marry one of your daughters, how could you exclude me as your daughter, have you forgotten how I got here , I might have never acknowledge being your daughter but I want to claim a title that rightfully belongs to me "I said as I heard the prince voice .

" King Rowan is what she is saying the truth , is she your daughter? The prince asked and the king took a deep breath , and I knew that if what I'm planning doesn't work out I will definitely be a dead meat after this .

" Dear king or should I say father , he is asking you a question, cat got your tongue ? I asked I never knew I was holding this much anger inside of me and this is the only chance I get to vent it .

Seeing that the king was not going to say anything, I started talking more I do not want to give him a chance to win this battle even if I do not end up with the prince am sure I would have tarnished his image and any punishment will be worth it .

"You know I have always wondered , why you treated me so differently , if you knew this was how you were going to treat me , why did you accept to take me in , you could have rejected my mother's request politely rather than accepting and turn me to your slave " I said as tears starts brimming in my eyes and I could not hold them in anymore , the pain was too much and it was all coming to me all at once .

The pain I have been holding in since fourteen years ago I'm finally letting them out but I do not feel better I need to lash out on someone to feel better and my target became princess piper , she had made my life in this palace a living hell right from the first day she knew of my existence.

I took the plate of soup in front of her as she watched me in confusion before she can realize what was going on the soup were already dripping on her hair and she let out a heart wrenching scream and I could not help but laugh out .

"Why ? Do you feel disgusted ? I'm glad you feel that way because I'm still starting.

The next on my list was the omelette, I grabbed the omelette and used to apply a little bit of face mask on her face .

She kept screaming.

" Aethonaea I will definitely kill you "

" After you survive from my hand "I said as I slapped her hard on her both cheek . I do not know but anyone who tries to get close to me gets knocked before they could touch me , I do not know why but I love it .

After I got tired of slapping piper I released her and stood up very well before looking at everyone face , the queen and princess lylah were definitely scared , king Rowan was more enranged and prince zephyr was ... His face didn't say anything.

"King Rowan I have choosed my bride " prince zephyr said as he looked toward me

"Your name?

" Aethonaea "I answered .

" I think we should start going, we will keep in touch "prince zephyr said well that was pretty fast .." prince zephyr you can't just leave like that "the king said.

" And that your word was suppose to stop me "prince zephyr said .

" That is not what I meant , I meant we need to perform some traditional right before she leaves , she is my daughter after all "the king said .

" Well looks like you finally admitted to her being your daughter... Anything is fine by me as long as it doesn't exceed tomorrow you are free "the prince said as he winked at me before leaving the room and he stopped at the door .

" A word or a finger on her , that person has gained a ticket to hell "prince zephyr said as he left ..
