The canopy of trees swallowed the fading afternoon light while Anneliese Cresta roamed the grove in the wood elves’ territory. Most of the wood elves had either retreated into their trees to refresh themselves before the evening meal or were staying away from her because they didn’t want to be caught in the trap she and Patch were setting.
