I go back and forth on what I should wear, so I end up FaceTiming Alexis. "Hey," she says as she picks up the call. "What's up?" 

It's dark where she is, and there's a song in the background. "Hey, are you at the bar?"

"Yeah, pulling the afternoon shift. The normal girl called in. We're dead though, so feel free to give me something to do."

I turn the phone so she can see my bed. It's littered with the remnants of all the clothes I've tried ...
