*Kyros’ POV*

There was no going back in after I’d been seen leaving with Heiro and Deimos. I sucked in a shuddering breath as I felt an invisible weight settle on my chest. I couldn’t catch my breath and my vision felt as if it were going dark, the ringing in my ears nearly deafening.

I felt like I was dying as I stumbled behind a wall and half-collapsed to the ground. What was happening to me?
