Apex's POV

Slowly, I return the receiver to the phone's cradle, not breaking eye contact with Farran.

Farran loudly growls, and I stand, placing my fists on my desk. 

Scar and my men rush in, surrounding Farran.

"Sorry, boss," Scar says, looking menacing. "The new guy downstairs let him up."

I stare at Farran, addressing my men. "I'm sure Mr. Fontaine will play nice during our conversation."
