I turn to see Eclipse smiling at me. He's in the doorway, stroking his beard. 

"Apex, do you see something that intrigues you?"

Sliding my phone into my pocket, I glare at him. 

“Nice pack photograph. Kallisto looks happy with the woman holding her.” I decide to question Eclipse about Kallisto’s biological parents.

“You seem intrigued by things that are so simple on their face.” Eclipse chuckles.
