Kallisto's POV

“About the feast…” Freya trails off as she rushes from the back of the house, and her eyes settle on Rowena.

Rowena ignores her and comes closer to me, sniffing me.

Her eyes focus on the mark on my neck. She steps back, slapping my face before I can move. 

My cheek burns and, without thinking it through, I quickly slap her back. 

I gasp, surprised at myself. Holy sh*t, did I just do that?
