“You’ve got this,” Selene whispered into my ear.

We were back at the council hall, everyone was ready but I wasn't. Selene noticed the tension that was building up in me, she moved towards me, whispering words of encouragement.

I stepped forward, scanning the hall. Everyone was present.

“Thank you, everyone, for coming back,” I began, voice soft. “I know it must be hard returning here again, but I appreciate your efforts.”
