I stirred up, sighing as I stretched myself.

I snapped my eyes open, scanning around the quiet room.

“Holy shit.” I cursed, almost falling off the chair.

“Caleb,” I screamed, my hand on my chest.

“Sorry.” He grinned, taking a seat opposite me.

“What are you doing here?” I asked, shifting on the chair, straightening my posture.

“I umm..., I heard about Ruby.”

“Oh,” That was all I could say.

We stayed put, my eyes narrowing, I could feel his eyes on me.
