Chloe’s POV

The event was a hot and people walked around, but as evening finally came in, people started leaving slowly and quietly. And before we knew it the event finally came to an end and literally everyone was gone.

The music was gone. The laughter had faded into memories. Even the lights seemed softer now, as if the world itself was tired but content. I stood alone in the garden, barefoot on cool grass, breathing in the calm that came after chaos.
