A week has passed since Mira came.

Not the kind that rushes by unnoticed, but the kind that settles gently, like a careful hand smoothing rumpled sheets. The house could breath again, Laughter returned in its small, cautious doses, first in the kitchen, then the living room, then everywhere. Everyone was happy and for the first time in the longest of time, there was so much joy and peace.
