The afternoon seems quiet, calm. Noland went to his office after lunch, and then got back in less than two hours. Now we are in the living room hanging out quietly together. Natasha and Robert on a corner, Noland sitting across from me looking at some papers, and I am reading a book.

Then I see my phone ring, and the number on the screen is a number I am not familiar with.
