Honey
He gave me his number and drove off. I smiled as I looked at his number on my phone. I saved it as 'Handsome Savior’. I kept my phone in my handbag and watched as he drove away. I really hoped to see him at the concert. I smiled and walked towards the studio. Amelia was stepping out of the building, she watched as the car drove away.
She turned to me and arched her brow when it was out of sight. "Honey, who was that?"
"He is someone who saved me a while ago."
“What happened?” She asked. “Why did you say he saved you?"
I held the handle of my handbag and pressed my lips. "Well, there was a mysterious fan who was stalking me when I went to the footwear store and I kind of ran into him while I was trying to avoid the stalker."
Amelia bit her lip and shook her head. "This wouldn't have happened to you if you had let me follow you,” she scolded me.
"Then, I'm glad you didn't follow me because if you did, I wouldn't have met him," I said dreamily.
Amelia frowned, giving me a look. "Him? Who? Your crazy fan or the man who saved you?"
"Who else? I'm talking about the man who saved me."
Amelia raised her brows and looked at me like she was examining me. "You don't even know his name, do you?"
I blinked twice and shrugged. "I already asked for his number so I didn’t want to ask for his name. I don't want him to think I'm all over him."
"Asking for his number seems more clingy to me than asking for his name," Amelia clarified.
I toyed with the zip of my handbag. "That's not—" I gasped and covered my mouth. Did he get irritated because I was acting so clingy?
I looked at Amelia with wide opened eyes. "Amelia, was I acting clingy? Oh my, do you think he thought I was clingy?"
Amelia nodded and turned towards another corner. "I'm hundred percent sure he thought so."
"You are not a nice manager." I scolded her.
She smiled and looked at me. "At least, I'm an honest one."
I picked up some stuff from the studio and headed back home. Amelia ensured she followed me this time. I lived in a quiet neighborhood in LA. The car was parked in the garage of my house. It was just a fancy White duplex surrounded with a small nice garden and a sparkling swimming pool at the front of the house. I still lived with my parents and I was pleased with it. I once thought of moving out when I turned twenty, but I changed my mind. I would only move out when I get married.
I slung my handbag over my shoulder and walked inside. My dad was on a sofa reading a newspaper. I smiled and walked towards him. I was sure my mom was in the private living room watching blackpink music videos. I thought I was a devoted blink, but my Mom beat me hands down.
I greeted my Dad before going to have a quick shower. Afterward I went to the dining and Anelua eating a box of pizza. I joined her and kept checking my phone as I ate.
Amelia took another slice and placed it on her plate. Then, she looked at me. "So, has he called you?" She asked
"Who?"
She looked down at the contact page on my phone. "Your handsome savior."
Since I arrived, I have been constantly checking his contact, anxiously waiting for his call. I turned off my phone and sat up.
"No," I said. I have been expecting him to call me, but he hasn't. I looked at my phone and reached for it again. "Should I call him?"
Amelia took it from my hand and shook her head. "No, that's clingy. At least, give him a day before calling him."
"A whole day?! That's too long!" I grumbled.
