I stood by the transparent wall, watching the mass of water that surrounded the island. My mind kept drifting to the woman I had kept captive. I had made it seem to her like she had a choice, given her a chance to make a choice which would be difficult to choose, but I knew that regardless of what she chose, I was still going to keep her here until she realized I don’t easily let go of what was mine.
