Leonardo was already pulling up files on his laptop when I walked into Sebastian's office. Sebastian crossed to me immediately, his hands running over my shoulders, my arms, checking to make sure I was okay.

"Did she hurt you? Threaten you directly?"

"No. She just... played with me. Like a cat with a mouse." I collapsed into the nearest chair. "She knew about the wire, Sebastian. The whole lunch was a performance to show me she's always ahead of us."
