Chapter 11

Daniela’s POV

"Don't touch me." I mumbled, pulling my head away.

He frowned, cupping my chin and lifted my head up, letting our eyes meet. "Daniela, please, stop crying." He said, wiping the tears of my cheeks with the back of his hand, full of concern in his eyes. "I was just joking. Nothing happened." He stated, giving me a reassuring look.

"Is it true? Aren't you lying?" I asked, unconvinced while sobbing.

"Yes, it is true." He nodded, giving me a sympathetic smile. I sighed, relieved and ruffled my hair. "And if we did it last night, you were barely sitting now." He added arrogantly and winked at me playfully.

"Pervert!" I exclaimed, embarrassed as I imagined myself under him while he was penetrating me. I gulped nervously and bit my lower lip.

He raised his eyebrow, giving me an amused look.

"Are you imagining what I could do to you with my lips, tongue and my favorite body part, little thing?

Your cheeks turned crimson red." He teased me, giving me a mischievous look.

"Javier!" I exclaimed, embarrassed and threw the pillow at him.

He burst out laughing as he caught the pillow in the air.

"Hey! What was it for?" He asked, grinning as he leaned towards me, full of mischief in his eyes.

"For making fun of me." I gave him a dirty look.

"Or you are disappointed because nothing happened last night." He smirked haughtily.

"Javier, shut up!" He chuckled. "Umm... What happened last night? Why are we here and naked?" I asked, confused.

His expression changed instantly. His jaw clenched as anger flashed in his eyes. "That prick... Robin tried to get you drunk." He stated, clenching his fist.

"What?" I asked, puzzled and ruffled my hair, trying to remember what happened. He exhaled loudly and continued explaining.

"Thank you." I gave him a grateful look as he finished explaining. I didn't want to imagine what would happen if Javier didn't help me.

"You are welcome, but next time be careful. I can't always be there when you need a knight in shining armor." He stated seriously.

"Be humble for a few seconds." I sighed, shaking my head.

"Fine. Fine. Let's have breakfast. I am starving." He winked at me and gave me a charming smile.

I nodded, adjusting the cover around me. "Umm...

Could you give me something to wear from your clothes?" I asked, embarrassed.

"Sure. And I washed your dress too." He replied as he stood up.

I looked at him, surprised. So thoughtful? Wow!

He came back from the walking-in closet holding a shirt in his hand while he wore a black shirt and

gray sweatpants.

"Thank you." I gave him a warm smile while holding the cover around me tightly as I approached him and grabbed the shirt.

"You can get dressed here. Meanwhile, I will make breakfast for us." He rubbed the back of his neck, giving me a boyish smile. I nodded.

As he left, closing the door behind himself, I put on his shirt and went to the bathroom. After washing my face, I went to the kitchen.

"There is just oatmeal here. I don't often stay here.

So there isn't a lot of food." He informed me as he placed a bowl of oatmeal and a mug of coffee.

"It is fine for me. Thank you." I smiled, sitting down on the chair as I took a sip from the coffee.

"You are welcome, little thing." He winked at me as he sat down on the chair beside me.

I frowned. "Don't call me little thing!"

He chuckled and started eating his oatmeal. I pursed my lips, trying to hold my smile, shaking my head and started eating.

"Javier?" I bit my lower lip nervously. He looked at me, giving me a questioning look. "Please, don't tell my family what happened last night, especially Troy and my father."

He nodded. "Don't worry. This will stay between us. I knew you wouldn't want them to find out about it. So I brought you to my penthouse, instead of your house or mine." He commented in a serious tone. I gave him a grateful look.

After having breakfast, we changed our clothes.

Then Javier dropped me off my house.

Javier’s POV

After dropping Daniela off her house, I went home. I had to talk to Charlotte. She should give me a good explanation about last night.

Once I arrived at the mansion, I asked the housekeeper about Charlotte's whereabouts. She informed me that she hadn't come yet. I frowned, annoyed and went to her bedroom.

I was sitting on the couch in her bedroom, waiting for Lottie. After twenty minutes later, she finally came back. When she saw me in her bedroom, she gasped, frightened as I caught her off guard.

"What are you doing in my room? You scared me." She snapped angrily.

"Where were you yesterday?" I asked in a serious tone, looking at her.

She bit her lower lip nervously. "In Daniela’s." She mumbled without looking at me and put her bag on the bed.

I heaved a sigh as I stood up and approached her, putting my hand into my pocket. "Don't lie to me. I know you weren't with Daniela."

She gulped, averting her gaze. "I am not lying. Why should I lie? We were together." She mumbled and gave me a nervous smile.

"Yes, why should you lie?" I mocked and clenched my fist. "You were with Nathan, weren't you?" I asked angrily. "Because you know Dad wouldn't let you spend the night with that prick, you lied to us." I commented in frustration.

"Don't talk nonsense! I was with Daniela." She ruffled her hair anxiously. "And don't call Nathan prick. He is your best friend." She warned me, folding her arms over her chest.

"Really? Then why didn't I see you? Because last night I was with her, and I am totally sure you weren't there. And because of your stupid lie, some prick almost tried to take an advantage of Daniela.

Fortunately my father had an urgent job; so we cancelled our plans, and I went to that damned party. If I didn't arrive in time..." I clenched my fist in rage without finishing my sentence.

Her eyes widened in shock. She cleared her throat and asked, worried. "Is she fine? What happened?"

"Yes, she is." I sighed and told her about last night without giving all the details, especially what happened in my penthouse. "Now tell me! Were you with Nathan?" I asked sternly.

She heaved a sigh and nodded. "Yes, but don't tell Dad and Mom." She gave me a begging look.

"Of course... I will tell him." I smirked wickedly.

Now you fell in my hands!

"Please, Javier. Don't tell Dad and Mom. They will get mad and ground me because of lying." She begged, looking at me with puppy eyes.

"It is your problem, sis." I said arrogantly and grinned devilishly.
