"You should get this," the seller said, pointing to the red mangoes stacked neatly on the wooden stand. "They are very fresh, very nutritious. And they will make your fruit bowl look even more colorful."

"Really?" I asked, picking one up. Its skin was warm from the sun, its surface slightly sticky.

"Yes, they are. And you should get these coconuts too. They are so refreshing."
