"How is she doing now? Is she okay?" Her best friend Kora inquired as she rushed into my room where Laura lay unconscious on the bed.

We moved her to my place after the doctors were done with the most important treatment.

"She's still unconscious, but the doctor assured us she's out of danger," I responded, and she heaved a sigh of relief.

"Glad to hear that. I was worried when they told me what happened," she remarked, and I smiled.
