I flipped to the correct page in my grimoire, blinked, sat back in my chair, and blinked again.

The only number listed was a giant numeral three. So really, that part in the index should've read number, singular. On the bottom of the page, a small paragraph drifted over the page like a cloud of dust. When it eventually settled, I read:
