(NICHOLAS'S POV)

"Nicholas, we have a problem.  Where the hell are you even?."

My mother’s voice rang through the pack link, sharp and urgent. A low growl rumbled in my chest as I sat up, my wolf immediately on edge.

"What is it?" I responded, already feeling my heart rate spike.

"Sofia just called me. She's in pain, Nicholas. She said her stomach is hurting…"
