Pack politics is so boring.

I kept playing with the ring on my finger while the meeting progressed. They were discussing a date for the trial and I wasn't about to lose my cool. Not today.

She was on my mind. Her stern, cold face filled my head and I could barely function properly.

It was like one minute we were close and the next we were worlds apart. I had tried knocking on her door last night but she wouldn't answer.
