SHADOWS FROM THE PAST.

The harsh summer sun woke me up before my alarm did.

My head felt heavy like I hadn't really slept. We'd come back home by 9pm, discharged the baby sitter and set Clara to bed.

I was so tired I went to sleep hungry.

So naturally, this morning I knew I was going to feel shitty. I stayed on my bed for a few more minutes staring at the ceiling and trying not to replay every detail of last night, but of course…I did anyway.
