“This will be your room. It has two different beds. I'm sure you can manage it for as long as your stay is down here.”

Johnson just kept up with his generosity, going so far as to accommodate us.

But his curiosity just had the best of him as he kept stealing glances at me.

“Thank you very much, my friend.”

“I'll leave you both to settle in. Call me if you need anything.”

I didn't have so much baggage on me, so I obviously didn't have a lot to unpack. ...
