“Who could that be?” I turned towards Johnson who had his instincts at Hugh alert while glaring at the door.

“We know you're in there. Open this door else I'll have to break it!!” They kept banging on the door without any plans of stopping.

“Go and hide Anabella. I'll get the door.” Jonson said.

We hurriedly took Anabella into Johnson's secret basement, making sure we didn't leave any traces if they decided to search the house.
